Rock The Youth 2012 (and awesome friends.)

 

 chapter 36 

 as salam people (: how's life? i hope everything went just well (: so last friday i went to Rock The Youth 2012 with my cheeky and pretty Farah Dafri! we both had fun spending time together (i hope!) and we met a lot of people there actually (most of them were our friends) oh and i think i'm no longer interested to attend any fashion bazaars now, it doesn't attract me anymore i don't know why :/ the reason why i attended bazaars are because the organizer offers free gifts for those who came (just like Markets@Jaya One last saturday, i got myself a nice Topshop totebag!), my friends were selling at the bazaar, there're artistes i wanna meet (like i met Daiyan Trisha and Melda Ahmad at Rock The Youth) or solely because i'm joining as vendor. blerghh. oh the reason why i attended Rock The Youth was because some of my friends were there and Farah had came all the way from JB to Shah Alam so i thought maybe the event was the best place to hang out with her :D

   

pretty Farah and me! i love youuu Farah :D oh guess who made the props? not me. they were made by none other than Melda Ahmad! yes yes! the singer who sang Kimia and Putus and she also starred in Gadis Semasa Sunsilk :D

oh and not forgetting some of the girls i met at the event. on top left was of course me and the sepet Fara Fatina and her bestie Shasha, on top right, me and Daiyan Trisha (i love her name!) the young talented singer-model-actress, there was Melda and me and Inora Putri (another name that i love), the owner of Sincerelybyus Shawl, and last but not least, me and Nurul Cakapcakap. oh don't get it wrong. i'm not taller than her, i was wearing heels while this pic was taken so basically maybe, i'm of the same height with her. hehe (: 

 so, that was it. the next day i went to Markets@Jaya One with love just because of the free tote and with the help of kak Yana (petisuara), i got two of them! ha! thanks kak Yana :D

 chapter 35 

 as salam people. i'm so very sorry for the long so-called hiatus. i actually have so much story to tell :D i've been busy for the past few weeks running my online business, going to classes, worrying about my FYP )': , helping my family for kenduri, and going to Malam Pra Graduan (MPG). look, i know this is long overdue, but i still want to post this today :D my dearest sister, kaklang, was blissfully engaged last two weeks! awwhh i'm so happy for her, i almost cry during her engagement day (': congrats my dear kaklang! the weekend before the engagement day was a little hectic as we were organizing 3 kenduri in a row! tahlil the night before of the engagement day, and my niece's cukur jambul ceremony was held on the same day of my sister's engagement day. here are some of the photos taken during all the kenduri. too bad i don't have a high quality camera ): the quality of the pictures were not so good.


 
that is my cute little niece, nur qistina azra! i love the name azra (: she's 1 year old now, can already walk (and dance) and have 2 little upper teeth (the last time i saw her). this is the cukur

right after the cukur jambul ended, the ceremony continued with our beloved sister's 
engagement!

 
 these are the DIY hantaran that my kaklang, my other sister mira and my lovely mak made two weeks before the big day. oh my mak is actually offering catering service which includes decorating the hantaran :D do visit Maklong Catering on facebook :D

pasar buku boco.

chapter 34

as salam pretty people (: how are you guys doing? i just got back from an awesome event (which is also the last event for this semester) it's Pasar Buku Boco #5 people! Boco was formerly known as Hari Bintang Jatuh (: the event was filled with acoustic performances, power talk by credible people, author reading, poem reciting and a book and crafts bazaar. the event was organized by my cute little kak Wani Ardy at her husband's cafe, Gravy Baby!

finally, yours sincerely. hihi. the theme for today's Pasar Buku Boco is checkered! everyone wore checkered shirts of various colors! the one i was wearing was actually my ayah's ;p look how i can fit in it.. if you know what i mean T.T

the event was superb, primarily because this was the first time love accompanied me for the whole day throughout the bazaar :D and many people actually appreciates my handmade items so that makes me feel happy :D sadly this will be my last event for this semester..

oh anyway, will looking forward for this kind of event in future :D

fukubukuro giveaway by little maketto :D

chapter 33

as salam peeps. what's a fukubukuro? you guys might ask. well, Fukubukuro (福袋) comes form the Japanese words fuku (福) meaning luck and fukuro (袋) bag. Put those two words together and Fukubukuro means Lucky Bag. It is actually a Japanese custom where merchants make grab bags with mystery contents and sell them for huge discounts on New Year's Day. The Japanese go crazy for the Fukubukuro and often queue in long lines hours before the store opens to get the best bags.

i have no idea about this fukubukuro thingy before, but seeing the concept of surprise it offers (the content of the fukubukuro is not known), well, i think i'm in love :D
